Our Background

Muddy Footprints is part of Five Children and Families Trust, whose background is rooted in Sure Start delivery.Originally a Sure Start Local Programme, the Trust has operated in Speke since 2001, developing award winning community approaches to meeting the needs of children, young people and families.Staff working in our childcare setting and Children Centre are skilled practitioners who have influenced early years practice across Liverpool, impacting the quality of care and education for the very youngest children.We have developed a school readiness programme that has been rolled out across all Liverpool children centres and local primary schools, provided consultancy to settings who are judged as inadequate or in need of improvement and provided training and support to other childcare settings across Liverpool.We believe that a fair and just society supports every child to achieve their full potential; by integrating the work of our childcare setting with our children centre we are able to demonstrate a positive impact for the children in our care, over time.We are passionate about making a positive difference to children and their families and firmly believe that our childcare business is your business and the business of all our community.
