Spring is in the Air...

Last Friday, Preschool have all shown curiosity in the signs of spring, bringing Nina and Melissa some beautiful flowers and some crispy new green leaves which has led to us following the children’s interests and learning more about the season spring.

The children all suited and booted for the spring showers that was forecasted last Friday, headed into Hale Park Woods to witness nature in bloom. All the children explored and investigated what they could see relating to the Spring season. We got to see daffodils, dandelions and bluebells, young leaves and beautiful threads of ivy threaded around the trees. The children also had the pleasure of listening to Mrs Nature herself (Claire Ross) who kept us all in engrossed in her nature stories! Laughter was had by all...
Then we finished our exploring and learning by having a picnic on a beautiful hill in the middle of the park, again witnessing the beautiful beginnings of spring.
