Our setting is based at the Five Children Centre in Speke. We provide childcare for children aged 2 until 11 years. Our setting consists of Toddler rooms and Preschool rooms as well as our Kids Club which runs all year-round offering breakfast club, after school club and holiday club.

We work very closely with our sister site Muddy Footprints Early Years (at Parklands) which provide our baby childcare that often result in children moving to our Toddlers and Preschool rooms. 

We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our children and their families. We feel that it is extremely important to nurture our relationships with our families to increase the children's continual development. Embedded throughout the setting is our 'nurture' approach which we demonstrate by providing to all our children the same opportunities and experiences in a caring and warm environment.

Here at Five Children Centre, we understand that your little ones are your world. Our team is honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility and opportunity to be a part of your child's learning journey. 

From experience, we understand that the transition into childcare can be distressing to parents as well as the child. We are unique in the way that we also offer support to families while providing childcare with a range of services. Our intent is for our children to be :

• to develop our children as curious and independent thinkers

We implement this by offering meaningful daily activities, outings and resources within the setting. We provide extra curriculum in our mindfulness sessions, forest school, yoga, workshops with our agencies with the aim of keeping the health and happiness of the children at the centre of everything we do. 

We engage a lot with the community, providing experiences for the children to enhance their skills and knowledge. We have weekly visits to Grow Speke with a planned learning outcome linked to each trip. The children are particularly fond of our relationship with Brushwood, our local Care Home where the children have developed their own relationships and empathy towards the residents while making cards or pictures, singing songs or listening to stories.
